Using Zoflora in the utility room
Zoflora is ideal for cleaning areas such as utility rooms where other household tasks are regularly carried out. Our multi-purpose concentrated disinfectant can be used throughout the home to combat the spread of bacteria and viruses.
Cupboard doors
You might not think that cupboard doors would be the dirtiest of places, but those handles and edges can be a secret breeding ground for bacteria and viruses - especially if these areas have come into contact with dirty hands.
Spray it
Just add 2 capfuls of your favourite Zoflora fragrance into a 800ml trigger spray bottle containing water then spray directly onto the area and wipe over with a cloth to disinfect.
Floors
Floor surfaces see some of the highest amounts of daily foot traffic, especially in busy households. Dirty shoes or pets who have been outdoors can spread bacteria and viruses, so it's vital that floors are disinfected.
Mop it
Add 4 capfuls of Zoflora per 1.6L of water into a mop bucket and use the diluted solution to mop over and disinfect hard surfaces.
Washing machine
We've all noticed that stale washing machine smell from time to time. Did you know it can be caused by a buildup of bacteria inside the drum? Using Zoflora can keep your washing machine disinfected and fresh, inside and out.
Wipe it
Simply soak a cloth in a solution of 1 capful of Zoflora and 400ml of warm water, then wipe down the washing machine exterior. For odours coming from inside the washing machine, add 2 capfuls of Zoflora to the empty drum and run a hot cycle.
Pet Baskets
We all love our furry friends, but their carry baskets and beds can be the source of some unpleasant household odours. Get rid of bad odours and germs by using Zoflora regularly.
Wipe it
Just dilute 1 capful of your choice of Zoflora disinfectant into 400ml of warm water and wipe down pet baskets and beds with the solution.
Surfaces
It's easy to overlook the importance of keeping utility room surfaces clean. While they may look clean, they could be harbouring harmful bacteria and viruses. Simply wiping down surfaces with Zoflora will disinfect them.
Wipe it
Dilute 1 capful of your Zoflora into 400ml of water, either into a trigger spray bottle or into a sink of warm water. Use the diluted solution to wipe down surfaces.
Litter trays
Litter trays make the perfect breeding ground for bacteria and viruses, especially if they are not hygienically cleaned on a regular basis. Using Zoflora to disinfect litter trays will not only remove harmful germs, but eliminate nasty odours too!
Wipe it
Empty out the litter tray and dispose of the content safely. After doing so, wipe down all surfaces of the litter tray, inside and out with 1 capful of Zoflora diluted into 400ml of water
Cloths & Sponges
Bacteria LOVE dishcloths and sponges, more than you might think. The items you use for cleaning are actually perfect breeding grounds themselves for nasty bugs, and if you don't disinfect them regularly, you can spread these germs around the kitchen.
Soak it
Get into the habit of leaving your dishcloths and sponges to soak at the end of every day. Simply fill your sink with warm water and add 1 capful of Zoflora for every 400ml of water, then leave your cleaning items to soak overnight. By morning, your whole kitchen will smell fragrant and fresh!

Always use Zoflora safely
Do not use on polished wood, painted, varnished or composite granite surfaces.
Allow a contact time of 5 minutes.
Do not mix with other cleaning products.
Dilute 1 part Zoflora to 40 parts water. - E.g. 1 capful of Zoflora (10ml) added to 400ml of water.
Do not spray directly onto or near to open flames or electronic devices.
Make sure to exclude pets from the area until surfaces are completely dry.
Always check the manufacturer's guidelines before using Zoflora on your bin.
Remember that Zoflora maintains its germ-killing power for 2 weeks once diluted.
