Using Zoflora in the kitchen
Have Zoflora on hand in the kitchen when taking on worktops, floors, cupboards and more. Our multi-purpose concentrated disinfectant can be used throughout the home to combat the spread of bacteria and viruses.
Hard floors
We all know floor surfaces are a bit downtrodden - they're always being walked all over by everyone. Dirty shoes or pets can bring bacteria and germs from the outside in, so it's vital that floor surfaces are not only cleaned but disinfected correctly.
Mop it
Add 4 capfuls of Zoflora per 1.6L of water into a mop bucket and use the diluted solution to mop over and disinfect hard surfaces. Do not use on polished wood.
Cupboard doors
You might not think cupboard doors would be the dirtiest of places, but those handles and edges can be a secret breeding ground for bacteria - especially if these areas have come into contact with mucky food fingers.

Sink
When it comes to the kitchen, sinks do a lot of the dirty work. Cleaning cups and dishes, washing food and vegetables, even soaking soiled sports kit - it's all going on in here. So it's really important to disinfect as well as keeping the area clean.
Wipe it
Easy! Just dilute 1 capful of your choice of Zoflora disinfectant into 400ml of warm water and wipe surfaces all over to keep them clean, bacteria-free and smelling super fresh. Do not use on polished wood.
Bin
The bin takes most of the punishment in daily kitchen life, and breeding bacteria from food waste can quickly start to make things smell bad.
Spray it
Don't accept defeat when it comes to bin smells. To get things back to their germ-free and fragrantly fresh best, soak a clean cloth in diluted Zoflora (1 capful per 400ml of water) and use it to wipe down the whole bin, not forgetting the lid and surrounding areas inside and out.
Worktops
If clean is a battle, your worktops are the battleground. Take the fight to germs and keep your worktops clean and germ-free.
Wipe it
Dilute 1 capful of your favourite Zoflora into 400ml of water, either into a trigger spray bottle or into a sink of warm water. Use the diluted solution to wipe down surfaces with a clean cloth.
Fridge
Getting your five-a-day does have its downsides, not least when the straggly bits of fruit and veg are left slightly too long in the fridge, kicking up a stink.

Cloths & Sponges
Bacteria LOVE dishcloths and sponges, more than you might think. The items you use for cleaning are actually perfect breeding grounds themselves for nasty bugs, and if you don't disinfect them regularly, you can spread these germs around the kitchen.
Soak it
Get into the habit of leaving your dishcloths and sponges to soak at the end of every day. Simply fill your sink with warm water and add 1 capful of Zoflora for every 400ml of water, then leave your cleaning items to soak overnight. By morning, your whole kitchen will smell fragrant and fresh!
Taps
Like cupboard door handles, taps see a lot of dirty hands in an average day, especially
when they're being used during food prep. This makes them a popular spot for bacteria to hide, so make sure to disinfect all parts of the tap regularly.
Wipe it
Easy! Just dilute your choice of Zoflora disinfectant into some warm water, adding 1 capful for every 400ml of water and wipe the taps all over to keep them clean, bacteria-free and smelling super-fresh.

Always use Zoflora safely
Do not use on polished wood, painted, varnished or composite granite surfaces.
Allow a contact time of 5 minutes.
Do not mix with other cleaning products.
Dilute 1 part Zoflora to 40 parts water. - E.g. 1 capful of Zoflora (10ml) added to 400ml of water.
Do not spray directly onto or near to open flames or electronic devices.
Make sure to exclude pets from the area until surfaces are completely dry.
Always check the manufacturer's guidelines before using Zoflora on your bin.
Remember that Zoflora maintains its germ-killing power for 2 weeks once diluted.
